Aquafiers

Modular Water Treatment & Recharge Systems

Aquafiers are our modular family of water-management products that combine smart treatment (potable & process water) with managed groundwater recharge. Built for rural communities, farms, commercial sites and small industries, Aquafiers deliver reliable water quality, reduce stress on local aquifers and turn surplus treated water into long-term groundwater storage.

Aquafiers package site-appropriate technologies from sand/mesh filtration, activated carbon and UV disinfection to membrane (RO) and slow-sand options plus engineered recharge solutions (infiltration trenches, recharge pits, recharge wells and percolation basins). The result: safe water for use and a measurable boost to groundwater resilience.

◉ Aquafier-Home (Domestic) : Compact unit for single households or small clusters (capacity ~500– 5,000 L/day).
◉ Aquafier-Community : Village/school/clinic level system with storage, pre-treatment and recharge module (5,000–50,000 L/day).
◉ Aquafier-Agri : High-throughput unit focused on irrigation quality and on-farm recharge (10,000–200,000 L/day).
◉ Aquafier-Industrial : Skid-mounted systems for process water polishing, cooling make-up and industrial reuse (custom capacities).
◉ Aquafier-Hybrid : Treatment + remote monitoring + automated recharge control for smart sites.

(Final capacity & tech depend on source water quality, target use and recharge objectives.)

Coarse screens and sedimentation / clarifiers
Multimedia sand filtration / slow sand filters
Activated carbon adsorption modules
Cartridge/ultra-filtration and reverse-osmosis (RO) membranes (where required)
UV disinfection and safe residual chlorination options
Storage tanks, dosing pumps and fertigation points (agri variant)
Recharge works : Infiltration trenches, percolation pits, recharge wells with filter media, and recharged infiltration basins
Instrumentation : Flow meters, TDS/EC probes, turbidity sensors, and optional GSM/IoT telemetry for remote monitoring

1. Source intake & pre-screening removes large solids.
2. Primary treatment (settling/sand filters) knocks down turbidity and sediments.
3. Polishing (activated carbon / membrane / UV) achieves target water quality for intended use.
4. Storage & use: Treated water stored for domestic, irrigation or process use.
5. Managed recharge: Surplus treated water is routed through engineered infiltration structures to replenish aquifers, after passing through a recharge filter pack to prevent clogging.

Safe, compliant water for drinking, processing or irrigation (design to meet IS 10500 / projectspecific standards).
Reduced groundwater stress by recharging aquifers with treated water.
Lower freshwater procurement costs (less bore-well pumping, more local supply & reuse).
Improved resilience to seasonal droughts through active aquifer management.
Scalable & Modular: From a single household to industrial skid systems.
Remote monitoring & Reporting option for operations, performance and MRV of recharge volumes.

◉ Rural drinking-water schemes, schools and health clinics
◉ Farm irrigation + on-farm aquifer recharge programs
◉ Construction sites & temporary camps (clean water + recharge)
◉ Small industries (process water polishing and reuse)
◉ Resorts, gated communities and commercial buildings seeking sustainable water balance

Site assessment & water testing (physico-chemical + microbiological).
Hydrogeology check for recharge suitability (soil permeability, depth to water table, contamination risks).
System design & Approvals (drawings, permits if required).
Civil & mechanical installation, commissioning and first-season operational tuning.
Training & Handover: Operator training, O&M manual and spare parts list.

Routine checks: daily flow/tank levels, weekly filter backwash, monthly media inspections.
Replace consumables: carbon cartridges, membrane elements and UV lamps per manufacturer schedule.
Recharge structures: inspect filter pack and clear silt annually or as needed to maintain infiltration rates.
Optional AMC (annual maintenance contract) available for servicing, telemetry and periodic water testing.

Designed to support compliance with Indian drinking-water guidelines (IS 10500) and local regulations. We use certified components and provide documentation for audits, health-agency approvals or donor reporting.

◉ Site assessment & lab report
◉ Detailed design, BOQ and civil drawings
◉ Commissioning certificate and start-up report
◉ Operation & maintenance manual and training records
◉ Optional: remote monitoring dashboard & annual performance reports (recharge volumes, water saved)

Costs depend on capacity, treatment complexity and recharge design. Typical lead times: 4–12 weeks from order to commissioning for standard community systems; custom/industrial projects require a tailored schedule. Contact us for a project estimate.

Will treated water always be safe for drinking?

Systems can be designed to meet drinking-water quality (IS 10500). Final safety depends on source quality and chosen technology (RO/UV/chemical residuals). We size treatment for your water and use case.

Is aquifer recharge safe where contamination exists?

Recharge is only recommended after thorough hydrogeological and contamination risk assessments. Where source contamination is present, we design appropriate treatment and protective recharge filter packs to avoid spreading pollutants.

Do you provide financing or subsidies?

We help identify subsidy schemes and financing options where available and can support project bankability modelling.
